I switched over to rsbot for 2 months and it works 10000000050% better then srl has ever worked for me, even with reflection, and I havent gotten banned using rsbot when I have using scar...so...I mean...why scar instead of rsbot?

Its just an opinion, different people prefer different things for different reasons.
RS Bot is more of a leecher site, no help with scripting, no sense of community, and even if you do know the scripting, its just easy stuff. Its just come, download, auto.

SRL is a COMMUNITY of people, LEARNING to code, HELPING each other out, gaining lots of basic and advanced programming knowledge (its AMAZING how much coding people have learned just by hanging out here and getting help from each other). SRL is a bit harder to setup, harder to find scripts for, harder (funner!) to code, ect ect, but some people just choose it over RSBot anyways, which means SOMETHING is better here :p.

It depends on what your looking for. You seem like a guy who wants to auto easy and NOW. And for that, you use RSBot. Download, run, be happy.
I like to help, be helped, not just be a leecher and script, learn basic/advanced programing techniques, actually have a challenge making a script. If all of that comes at the toll of making my own script, having to setup SCAR/SRL/SVN, search for scripts harder, tweaking scripts that dont work, I don't mind, I'm here for many other reasons besides autoing. If you dont like what you see, then why not learn to script and fix it? We dont claim to be perfect, but we try to. We aren't a Come, Download, Auto community :p. (Also since reflection is broken, lots of scripts just don't work, and many people are lazy to make color scripts :p)

As for you getting banned, Ive only gotten ONE out of 30+ accounts banned ever, and it was a stupid mistake. Make sure scripts you use are coded well, monitor them and make sure they work well, dont auto for long periods, dont be obvious that your an autoer ect ect. Honestly only way to get banned is be 'obvious' when you auto, and using a poorly made script.

Anyways, you are free to go stay at RSBot community, or ours, or both. If SRL isn't for you I'm sorry about that :/.

Maybe if you became an SRL member, and used some member scripts, you'd have more working scripts to choose from. Or even try making your own script.

Sorry we may not have as many options and ease as RSBot, but their focus is easy autoing.
Our focus is a community, learning, teaching, gaining knowledge, having fun! Also, many of the Developers/Scripters are working very hard now to get more working scripts out. We know that once reflection died, lots of working scripts also have, so many people are working as hard as they can as we speak to get lots of shiny new working scripts out there for you, just gotta be patient.

Edit: So yeah basically different communities, different goals/aims. Since reflection died we don't have as many good working scripts, but trust me lots of people are working hard as hell to get some powerful working COLOR based scripts out. Sorry for my redundancy!

Wow, i did not want to read all this you have written, so i am just going to reply.

I do not know if, you know linux.

Ok, now imagine rsbot as Windows. It is simple, you do not need to mess with things, sometimes it is bugged and it does not work. But you will find other thing which will work.

Now imagine SCAR as linux. It is more of an advanced thing, some things which worked with Windows do not work in Linux. You must google for everything (luckily in SCAR`s case you do not, because you ask on forums), BUT when you achieve final result it is x-times (or 100 times) better than Windows could do.

Now, it is like these two. I say, you need to learn SCAR and it needs some time, but when you write final script, it is far better than Rsbot could have one.

Lastly, i would like to say, that here is MUCH MUCH better community than at Rsbot, we like to help people, to contribute. I do not know how it is in Rsbot, but as it is leaching community, i doubt they help as much as here is helped.

So, it is up to YOU to decide.

Find me one script, I can't make 2x better then the one RsBot got.
Already did once, and I beat it really good. (With no ban, ohlordimepic).

He wasn't talking about the community of SRL, he was talking about the program SCAR. Nethertheless, RSbot is still a community. People say it has a shit community, when actually I was there a few months ago and it seemed fine. I have used RSbot before on my auto army, it worked great. I used a scar script on a few of the accounts and they got banned so :/. Could of just been the script, I mean some scripts are great. But on the upside when RSbot is down you can bot for approx 3-6 hours while its getting updated.

But there are some reasons why scar is better then rsbot and vice versa but this isn't an argument.

SCAR is easier to learn and easier to script on but rsbot you have to know a bit of java and other things which makes it a bit more difficult. I think people prefer scar because it is easier to script for.
