Hello World. :p

This is my situation. I was a complete dumbass when i bought my laptop and didn't worry about the gfx... Now, here i sit with only 32mb(dedicated) video card.

Graphics
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Display adapter type Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Total available graphics memory 1759 MB
Dedicated graphics memory 32 MB
Dedicated system memory 96 MB
Shared system memory 1631 MB
Display adapter driver version 7.15.10.1576
Primary monitor resolution 1366x768
DirectX version DirectX 10

Now, as you can see i have 32MB dedicated Graphics memory and 96 dedicated System memory. It shares 1631mb(but shared is an assload slower then dedicated).
Here is what i would like: IMPROVED GRAPHICS

okay, options:
buy an upgraded video card- IMPOSSIBLE(soldered right onto my motherboard)

Possible Options:
ExpressCard video card.
Now this is a possiblilty. I am unsure if there are video cards available in an ExpressCard slot. Here is a look at the side of my laptop.

As you can see, 1). is my ExpressCard slot.

Other Option:
although not the best option...
Is it possible to dedicate more system memory? I have 4gb of ram and never EVER use it all... :p I checked my BOIS and didn't see a way. Is it possible still? I mean it has 96mb dedicated, why can't i make that 512mb?

Thanks everyone for help. Please don't post unless you have a solution that will work. thank you!

hmm. laptops are tricky.

It isnt one of your options, however if you wantd a slight increase in graphics performance you could download a benchmark software such as 3d mark and then depending on if your gpu has an nvidia chipset or ATI then you could download their overclocking software and VERY slightly (increments of 5-10) increase the core, shader and memory clocks. the downside to this is if your gpu has terrible cooling then it ca cause your equipment to either overheat or reduce the hardwares life shortly.

I've overclocked my pc for years now so if you need any more help then just pm me.

Oh man, I just googled it and found out you cannot allocate more memory to your graphics card.

I found something called the ExpressBox, apparently you can use it to upgrade your laptops graphics externally, Here's a link:

GOOD LUCK!
