Help!

[TAST3 DEF3AT]

When I try to extract the installation for SCAR Divi 3.22, everything runs fine until the actual instaling. It gets about halfway and then says;

C:\Program Files (x86)\SCAR 3.22\scar.exe

An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
MoveFile failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file(not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

I click Retry; same problem. I decided to ignore, and then further down the installation it does the error MoveFile again but for different file. I tried ignoring both, but then starting the program, it said it couldn't find a file needed.

Is this because I am running vista? Please help! :)

I've had similar problems in 7, try deleting the folder and trying again.

Also, using SVN to install is recommended.

I didn't know there was a 3.23, I only had found the 3.22 version because of the tutorial thread. :S

3.23 is an unstable beta. 3.22 is the latest stable (kinda =\) version of SCAR.

Could it be possible to re-run the installation, and tell us the file that is displayed when both the errors are received? :)

3.23 is a prerelease revision which hasn't been fully debugged but it still works well :)
SVN = is here http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads :)
once you have svn set up
right click on your desktop and chose svn check out and paste this link in

and then you have the latest revision prerelease version of scar!

The error has to do with the file named - scar.exe. :)

ohhh I almost forgot after you did that go into the folder you just made find a folder called includes and it should only have a file called placeholder you can delete it if you want but right click and make a new folder called SRL right click and choose svn check out and paste this link in

also another thing you need to do is move your plugins folder =o
start up scar.exe and head to tools > options > SRL download > move plugins :D

and if you're gonna use scripts using reflection you can download that too with svn
what you do is go to includes/SRL/SRL and you'll find 3 folders called core, misc, and skill make a new folder called reflection no caps just as it is and right click that folder and click svn check out and put in this link

then have it download and you're done :D
btw since it's prerelease stuff it'll update frequently you can just right click all those folders and click svn update :D and easy 1 click update :)

Does it matter what SVN I download?

your system is most likely 32 bit but you can check by right clicking on my computer
and it'll say what type your OS is :)

Okay I'm sorry but I need a step by step, after downloading SVN what do I do from there?

Right click on my desktop? I don't understand that part. Sorry :( like okay, so what I have on my desktop is the SVN called TortoiseSVN-1.6.6.17493-win32-svn-1.6.6

Yeah when I dbl click it again it says Modify, Repair, Remove.

Is this the right file name? : TortoiseSVN-1.6.6.17493-win32-svn-1.6.6

don't double click it you can delete it now since you've already installed it :D now right click anywhere on your desktop like in a blank space not on a file
and choose svn check out and paste that link i told you :D

There isnt an option to choose SVN Check out.

Okay, new folder done, named SCAR done. But there still isn't an option to do SVN checkout.

Not working :(

E: Nevermind I downloaded the missing file off of Revision. But now its saying a different problem in all scripts I try to run.

Line 20: [Error] (20:16): Unknown identifier 'TabExists' in script C:\SCAR 3.22\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\Sandwich.sc ar

Line 20 is the random event for the sandwich lady
The line is as follows:

Result := (not(TabExists(tab_Inv)));

What do I do?
