A couple questions

Okay, well I have had past experience with scripting. And before creating this thread I looked at a couple or other threads. To be honest, I don't know where to put this so I'm putting it here.
Questions:
1) I have McAfee and I can't get SCAR, is there any way around this?
2) Will McAfee think that Simba is a virus? Or is there no way to tell?
3) Is there a release date on Simba because that sound really cool.

Turn off McAfee while your downloading Scar.

Even if it does find SIMBA as a virus, you can edit an 'Exceptions list' for it to allow the program to run.

AFAIK, there is currently no release date.

I've always had trouble with that, I thought that users cannot manually edit that list, if so please tell me. :)

Yeah, just find a way to make SCAR and 'exception' for McAfee, or just turn off/disable McAfee when installing SCAR.

As for simba all info about it so far is here:

Im not too sure about McAfee, but with Norton 360 Professional, scar.exe itself isnt detected as a virus, but the fixscar.exe is...

since fixscar.exe has no disernable use, you dont need it...

Ive been using scar on vista for over a year, and ive never had problems getting scar (< 3.20) it to work

but ive gotten 4 BSOD from the beta releases of scar, and ive never got a bsod before, the result, ive stopped using it

Simba won't be found as a virus. It uses no ambiguous packer to hide anything from you guys.

:O That's awesome! Keep up the awesome work! A quick question, not meaning to hijack, what OS's will be supported?

I had McAfee, I just turned it off and installed it then added it to the exceptions and enabled it. Worked fine :)
