Do you mean the server or the actual maker? For the server run a whois, the maker its impossible. Do I smell a script kiddy trying to DOS a buddy ;)?

That's not always his IP. It's often 127.34.33.65 as well.

The easiest way I can think of his writing a small php script which records the ip address then sending him a link to it. Unless of course he owns the server/domain.

Just grow up and take flames like a man. If he has nothing better to do, that's his problem. People who make blogs flaming people is free-speech, nothing you can do about it. Giving him attention about it, however, makes his "job" more entertaining for him.
