I just made a brand new account, what should I do with it? Any particular skill?

I'd say woodcutting.
Mining is only truly profitable if you dish out the money for member, to be honest. (Excluding the possible F2P runite mining.)

It just depends on what you want to see it go for?

Well I heard that there is a cool smelting script out there.:rolleyes: Maybe try it and train smithing? Good money when smelting steel bars.
And I need more testers.

Yeah, my first goal was mining to 70 and then smithing. But before you can do that you should train combat. But i take it that you have already done that?

Hmm..so mining and smithing and then maybe woodcutting then? After working on my Powerchopper I'm getting kind of tired of chopping lol xD. All of the stats are level 1 except the mining which is 4, I finished the tutorial island and logged out. Where can I get a pick and an axe from?

Then mining.
I've NEVER been a woodcutter. It doesn't seem very profitable at all, (until your like level 75 and can cut yews at a decent rate). (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but Iron ore mining seems like much more gp to me)

As for mining, level 40, rune pick = 1 hit irons, which I believe are appx 200gp each?
Only problem is that it's often crowded, but its decent fast gp.

Also, if you want, you can do rune mysteries (manually) and then run POMS essence miner, to get some good stater money (appx 40K an hour).

Iron for sure is better $. (Depends on crowd/how fast you are, but Iron yes)

I'd go with iron. Ess sucks(although is you're p2p pure ess is 100k+ an hour).

I would personally go with mining. LOTS of money in runite.
