No. It cannot.
Simba will be able to work on a Mac in the future I understand.
Freddy started on a project called Leviathan earlier which worked on Macs but abandoned it later on.

Markus wrote a tutorial on using SCAR on a mac. It will be through WINE, so you'd have to install the Windows Java through WINE as well. SCAR can only target windows that are in WINE.

If I actually had a working mac in VM, I could port Simba to Mac OS X in days. Mac OS X is kinda picky when it comes to hardware though...

Possible. But I'd really need a few days to get it all to work. When the time comes (when Simba is stable) I think I'll be able to use VMWare to get a working mac os x.

Meanwhile, SCAR with wine is the only alternative.

Once it's stable and feature complete, a fair alternative.

But SCAR isn't stable. So if SCAR is up there, so then should Simba ^_^

Marcus, does that work with all the latest updates? How would I use the SVN repository with it?

Really? Don't you get constant crashes, DIB handler errors, error reports popping up all the time when you click on something in the IDE or run a script?

Just use it? There are more than enough subversion clients around for OS X.

i couldn't get wine to work so i have used crossover, got scar working, installed plugins, srl, but i can't get java to work, do you have any experience with CrossOver?

edit: nvm, vmware fusion 3 works sweet for me.
