How do I run unsigned Java because in a post made by WT-Fakawi (7 Golden rules of SRL autoing; http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12) he says for rule #6 to use an unsigned client. Well, I have no idea how to do that.

Could somebody help me? :bart:

Meh those rules are really old, and IMO it doesn't really matter at all. I always use SIGNED client as do many people I know who auto a lot. The only 'precaution' I take (and I'm not sure if it even means anything) is that I delete my
C:\Windows\.jagex_cache_32 folder before/after I play on my main account. :p And I don't even really know what that does!

Overall, I don't think it really matters weather or not you use signed/unsigned.

I auto signed and never delete any Jagex stuff. ;) Don't worry, brah.

I am glad to see a reply (ever another one!) from the both of you. I will use that technique of deleting the cache to keep the suspicion low.

Thanks! :bart:

Yep, to answer your original question, visit the above link to use an unsigned client.

I use unsigned clients exclusively. There is no evidence to suggest that Jagex is banning those using signed clients now. However, there have been times in the past where people used bots they thought were "safe", and were then caught in a mass ban.

With reflection currently broken, there's really no reason NOT to use an unsigned client. I suppose the one exception is if you're not using SMART, and want to world hop, since that's much easier on a signed client.

How would using reflection have an impact on choosing to use the signed client or not?

My understanding is that you must use a signed SMART client to use reflection...

I'm pretty sure the client is the same whether it's signed or unsigned (and probably even in HD now; excluding the fact that some classes are replaced for their signed counterparts in the signed version), so any version could be used.
