Need to find a good nick for this acc name. New idea.

My account name is. go o gl. My nick would then be "o" OR "l". But can I change my name with the display name thing and change it to googl. Then my nick would be "oogl". Will this work? Or will the script won't accept the nick, because it's not matching the login name?

Uh, the nick dosn't have to match anything. Its just a nickname.
I name my botting accounts by songs, and nick name them from the album
For example, i named one after the third song in an album by metallica 'ride the lightning', and nicknamed it RTL3 (ride the lightning 3). If you look at all my proggies, that is the name that comes up as the nick usually :p

Actually Bionicle, the Nick originally was used to reply to people talking to you, using your name, therefore the script would search the chatbox and search for your nick.
I am not sure if it is still used though?

AFAIK, your Nick is used for Randoms detection, or at least used to be I believe..If is still is then it does matter what your Nick is. It should be 3-4 lowercase letters from your name.

I doubt it is anymore, because I learned how to script not to long ago, I was taught that these days the nick name is used for no more then proggies.

Nicknames was originally used in antirandoms when the old man appeared and said "Greetings, [Username] ...". Now it is only used in auto responders and progress reports
