I just got Vmware today and installed TinyXP and I have my client I want to bot, SCAR and everything is setup.

The only problem I have is that I only allow 435mb of RAM on my VM and it's not enough to run SCAR and CrisesX at the same time very well. I am afraid to add more because my computer only has 1 gig of RAM.

What would be the best sollution? A better OS that uses less RAM or what?

TinyXP is already pretty small.
You can try LinuxMint:
http://www.linuxmint.com/
Or DamnSmallLniux
http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/

See how much RAM you use on average on your comptuer, and give the VM the rest - 50MB to be safe :p. And then when you aren't on your comptuer, just auto without the VM.

I'm running Windows 7 and using 475 Mb of RAM. That seems pretty high to me...

Anyways, I wanna be able to run multiple VM's and bot more than one account at a time... is there a way I can kill my normal OS (Windows 7) and JUST rune a few VM's? They use less CPU and RAM so It should work that way. I might be able to squeeze three bots out if I could do that...

It's for a private server.

If you're still looking for a decent OS for your VM.

I'm just going to assume (and I'm sorry if I'm wrong) that your not a linux user so I wouldn't recommend DSL as it can be a bit fussy at the best of times.

A good alternative would be an os called Xubuntu which you can download: http://www.xubuntu.org/get

If you read the details it can actually run on 128 mb ram. If poss - make it 192 mb for better performance.

As for 475mb RAM usage in Win7, I havn't used it but when I used to have Vista (bad times) it used to hog all my resources.

Modded XP or Linux ftw.

Hope this helps you matey.

Peace

Buy a few sticks of ram off ebay and wave good bye to RAM problems.
