invalid menu handle [Archive] - SRL

I just reinstalled SCAR and SRL due to a previous problem and am now getting a new problem. I can open up SCAR fine but when i go to open a script in SCAR it says "invalid menu handle" and then the file directory. I followed both installment guides but i get the some problem please help! :confused:

windows xp.... my scar worked at one point and i've never had this problem before
