^That.
SVN Checkout your SCAR folder to:

http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease/

And make sure to use the scar in the 'PreRelease' folder.
(When you click (In SCAR) Help>About It should say Version Divi 3.23

Haha, yea, I just overwrote my scar 3.22, since it had sooooo many dib handle exceptions.

YoHoJo

Yeah, mine still says 3.22 also, the problem is plugins.
In SCAR do:
Tools> Options> SRL Download > Move Plugins

RedIce

Omfg!... I'm an idiot. Haha, I forgot. Thank You

RedIce

Amazing... will it ever end? lol

Line 28: [Error] (28:28): Unknown identifier 'MMX1' in script D:\Program Files\SCAR 3.22\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\PrisonPete. scar

I know that variable, I don't remember which include/plug-in it came from

YoHoJo

Not familiar with that one. Odd.
1)
How about, delete your SCAR folder completely.

2)
Manually make a SCAR folder in your C:Program Files.
SVN it to

http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease/

3)
Make an SRL folder in the includes folder
SVN it to

http://www.villavu.com/repositories/srl-opendev

4)
Move your plugins.

That's all there is to it mayne!

MMX1 is part of SRL/SRL.scar. >_>

Try redoing it all? :p

And try to not multi-post. :)

RedIce

k, doing that now
.
...

There, I redid it completely, just like I did before I started this thread > :(

Scar isn't finished with me yet

Line 58: [Error] (565:11): Unknown identifier 'CreateTPAFromBMP' in script SRL\SRL\Core\Math.scar

Forgot plugins... :P again

...

I copied the plugins from SRL over the ones already inside, and scar gave me this:

Line 58: [Error] (58:11): Unknown identifier 'CreateTPAFromBMP' in script SRL\SRL\Core\Math.scar

i retried a few times and still the same thing, so how did the debugger not catch this one the first time.

"Oh nvm, I ran scar as administrator and redownloaded SRL and includes. Works fine now.
Apologies for my blunder, I'm new to this whole vista/windows 7 thing."

I dunno if I told you or not, but run as admin.

Also, :3 the first link I responded to and fixed it.

^^ I feel special.

If you can't figure it out, I can take pictures for every step.

After moving plugins close/open SCAR again.

Yea... searched a little, got lazy, and didn't try to think about searching harder for my problem:duh: WOW. sorry

but i did move plugins, i just didnt restart scar, lol. i did that.

:spot:Surprise!!:spot:... another error, this one i dont understand AT ALL:

{.include srl/srl.scar}
program New;
begin
srlsetup;
end.

causes:
Line 2: [Error] (22019:1): 'BEGIN' expected in script

i luffs yeww
03-18-2010, 02:19 AM
You have to have the Program New; before {.include SRL/SRL.scar}. :) You don't even need it at all, but you can include it if you want. (I mean the program New; isn't needed, not the {.include SRL/SRL.scar})

And no, I didn't post in the wrong thread. I was quoting what someone else was posting from one of the links YoHoJo posted.

I'm on XP atm, so I can show you a step by step guide on how to do it if you still can't figure it out. :p

lol, thanks for clarifying that, I was confused, and I have no idea how I didn't notice that, haha, back to the basics for me:P

Successfully executed

Thanks to both of you. Now I'm going to try all of the scripts that worked for everyone else :/

There were so many errors I gave up fixing them, LMAO.

Most errors are from user errors, rushing though instructions/installing, missing a step etc.
If you slow down and make sure you are doing everything correctly the first time, then you won't have to waste a bunch of time later fixing all of the errors :].
Glad you got it going.
