scar OK, SRL OK, script compiled, but when hitting run, no logging in

i havent been autoing for over year, but now i downloaded scar and srl again. everything is ok, SRL works, scar works but scripts that are not working are using SRL multiplayer.

there seems to be no proplem at anykind when i hit run. it compiles the script and so on. but after that, nothing happens. it doesnt log in to runescape, it just hangs around. whats the problem?

the problem is not in the script. ive tried few of them like YoHoHo's newest powerminer.. and some other scripts that are working fine

Clear the debug. When you run the script (Power Miner) what appears in the debug?

ayeah i have the newest version of scar and SRL. ive tried to run these scripts on smart and on normal mode. but nothing seems to work..

player is set to true...
and it executed itself, i didnt touch it:D

I'm not sure then. Make sure you have the loads/ores/time or whatever setup properly. If you're still having troubles, try posting on that script's thread even though you said it happens with multiple scripts.

Also, did you download SCAR from Freddy's site or via SVN?

Yes, Freddy's site doesn't have 3.23, it only has 3.22. There are certain things for autoing that only work in 3.23.

It is a common mistake that people make these days not to have Runescape set up properly. Good luck :)

and be sure to get the dev release of srl, i think this might be a problem in login.scar

i know that when you use scripts made for a version of srl you dont have, then stuff happens, like errors in srl or scripts behaving wierdly

aint my first time autoing;) (8 working guildminers, with over 60lv combat, proper clothes and names:)

newest problem.. i cant use scar when my McAfee virusscan is on since it deletes scar when trying to open it:D:D

Then delete McAfee and see how it feels. Or see if you can add an exception :P.

Can't you just disable it? Also, I'm pretty sure that there's a thread here that has a .dat file you can add to McAfee that will get rid of the detecting SCAR as a virus problem.
