You think it's 9.04? :p It'd help to know if it's actually 9.04 or 9.1. Apparently 9.1 isn't very good? I dunno. I've just heard there's a lot of problems with 9.1.

Just some links that might help..

(Ironically, there's help for this on YouTube.. >_>)

But it seems off if you're using the Linux version of Google Chrome (especially since YouTube is owned by Google).. Are you sure you're using the correct version of Chrome? And you've the Adobe Flash player plugin and everything?

Did you sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree?

Hmm. Well I'm not an expert with Ubuntu, but you could try search for 'flash' in your Synaptic package manager (or whatever it's called :p).

You should post problems about ubuntu on the ubuntu forums - The results you get will be more accurate then ones here

I know of problems with flash itself, where clicking on the buttons doesn't work. But I don't know about the music not playing. Perhaps you should try out 9.10 or 10.04 (beta)?

i suggest that BEFORE you update you COMPLETELY back up your computers OS> even better install 9.10 or 10.04 on a new partition so you have your old os to go to if the new ones screw u over like they did me. i mean REALLY screw you over. I lost internet connection trhough LAN on 10.04 and had no wireless when i got 9.10.

also try searching for an open source version of flash. i think they are made more for ubuntu than standard adobe flash is. that is if there is any. dont have synaptic anymore cuz im windows now. i know there is open JDK for java.

10.04 is meant to work out of the box more-so than other versions. Its an LTS after-all. But, you do still have to reinstall your non-free plugins.

This is a cool site with some great ideas, in my opinion: http://www.unixmen.com/linux-tutorials/937-things-to-do-after-installing-ubuntu-1004-lts-lucid-lynx
