scar new feature or glitch???

when i drag my selection in scar, i get a square selection, like in command prompt, i can copy and paste like that too, it is sweet

but i cant select stuff the normal way, i oened another instance of scar and it selects the normal way :[

anyone know what is going on??????

Open cmd and select some area, and u wont selecct the whole lines, but only a square region

You probably have control pressed. Or SCAR thinks that control is still down.
If that doesn't work, then it's a bug in SCAR.

aha, so ther IS a key i can use to do that whenever , imm gonna try, i pressed all control keys to be sure scar received a key up event to se if it would stop, it didnt, and i didnt restart scar because if i open anoth instance this doesnt happen, also, this didnt happen right after i started scar. i can restart now that i know how to do it :P, ty.

Linux, with Mac theme, running Windows XP in VB?! h4x!
Also, I know nothing of that program, but maybe... change resolution?

ohh, i see, u might have one of two problems

a) you havent installed the guest additions
-to install go into devices menu, and click install guest additions, this will prevent virtual box from having to 'capture' your mouse, and also add a bunch more features, full screen is the least of them*cough*Hostkey+L*cough* i need a doctor :[ :tongue:

b) u have guest aditions but havent enabled 'auto resize guest display, which makes your vboxs screen adjust to however you resize the window, even long and skinny if you want(i didnt mean it that way, but if u like that then thats cool:tongue: )

i luv vbox, i will let you discover the power of HostKey+L by yourself :tongue:, it doesnt work well in my version of ubuntu, 9.04. it works amaing though if you use a windows computer with windows also inside vbox :D

also, can i copy ur TEAM sig?

E: It worked! Thanks very much, it was so annoying having such a small screen. :p I was also wondering what specs you gave your machine when you made it? Mine is pretty much nothing, just wanted to see how other people did it. :)

if u mean vbox, i give it like 150-200 units of vid mem and as much memory as possible, which is just under 75 percent. vbox says that it is optimal to have at 50-50 but i use programs almost exclusively in vbox.

You specify the Host key(s) in VirtualBox IIRC.

lol, just to clarify, the host key is the key you press to release your mouse from virtual box, it is the right ctrl key by default. you probably havnt changed it so, i meant press ctrl+l and be sure you use the right ctrl key, not the left, left is normal ctrl, not host key.

damn, yea sometimes it does that in ubuntu, its g@y,. it will place the taskbar above the taskbatr in ubuntu, and ubuntus stuff isnt supposed to dissapear. it is really cool if it works. use it in windows and it always works :P

Lol I could use a virtual box in a virtual box. :p

But yeah, I'd rather not setup a whole new VB just for this feature when I'll never use it because I only use Ubuntu (excluding playing games).
