Hey,
Sorry for all the threads lately, people on the IRC weren't able to answer this one when I was on.

Maybe someone on here would:

How do I get an uptext on a private server?
Uptext() doesn't work...

you need to make bitmaps of all the letters and numbers (or any other characters) of all the fonts. Either that or Revert back to an older SCAR version that has the fonts that the private server uses. You could alternatively use a count color of the text in the upper left to see if it has X amount of pixels in the color of the text of the word you're looking for.

If I need to make that more clear just ask.

EDIT: By the way, this has been asked before, I remember the person saying for emps-scape, but they still had the same question. Next time try searching a little before posting.

Tried Simba? I hear the uptext functions there works on some private servers.. :)

I've tried, but it won't work!
I'm unable to get scripts which work both on scar and simba to work on simba.

Try older fonts with Simba. It should work. (Depending on whether it uses shadow or not, I'll have to check that)

Like the second post said, it was a nice guess I'd have to admit.
Though I didn't know anyone on here would be that specific with requesting the same question to be answered.

I tried using Uptext, that didn't work. Dropall; doesn't work either, that's why I asked if there was a different version of it and I happily got an answer to that.

This time with the uptexts, it's probably harder than I'm willing to spend my time on.
