seems decent, if it's in good shape and she gets it for $400 it'd be a good deal. $700 isn't too bad for a used mac, since macs are inherently over-priced. I don't mind the Mac OS, but I do mind paying premium fees for their hardware. My gf has a macbook, and has had one for 3 or so years, used all day every day, we've had to replace 3 power adapters for it.

My sister is spending 400 and I am spending 300 for that, but on IRC I got like raped when I even brought up the word MAC. :)

So it just comes down to me getting that MAC for 300

so wait? you and your sister have to share a macbook but she is paying the majority for it?

I wouldn't do the deal then. Unless she is GIVING you the 400 to help buy it, then take the money and run!

She's giving me 400 to help me buy it FOR MY SELF :)

So you're saying I should get that macbook while spending 300. Everyone else said no

$300 for a macbook.....hmmmm, tough. Does she have one you can mess around on for a few hours? I really prefer PC, but I can use a mac...Bobarkinator uses a mac I think.
It's a decent deal (for you), and if you want to piss off your sister you can re-sell it for a profit easy :p

That's really cruel, i WOULD NEVER do that.

But, her mac comes in the mail in a few days, I could play around with it to see how i like it. So your leaning towards a yes for me to get it?

It is from ebay, is that horrible? I mean he is selling it AS - IS but he has 100% reviews, and is 100% guarantee on it.

A deal is a deal.

Thats not a bad laptop, but there are inherent limits with mac. If you plan to game, I don't suggest it.

I still believe that mac is an overpriced linux machine. But thats just me.
