Alright,
so in IB we need to work on a project with people from different science departments. The theme is explosions and we need to bring in the physics/chemistry/biology of it together. (doesn't have to be all three but it would be better)
We need to come up with a research question on what we will experiment/find out..
It needs to be safe and realistic.
Any one have any ideas?

I was going to suggest nuclear bomb, but if it has to be safe and realistic...hmmph, a small hydrogen rocket?
It should be fairly easy and "safe".

Is this your Group 4 project? I had to do that earlier this year, it has to be something that relates to real world science I believe..
I did methanol as an alternative fuel (the topic was alternative fuels) and did a lab which showed how to create it from wood, and then related it to real world (global warming etc) and got a 6 (out of 6) on it.
If it's for Group 4 (just guessing because you mentioned the science dept.) you can hit me up on msn for help with it. You aren't supposed to get help from anywhere, so discussing on an online forum is risky.

@R1ch
Smoke bomb is also a good idea, thanks :)
@3Garrett3
Yes it is group 4 ^^
I didn't know we weren't allowed to discuss it online? That's pretty stupid tbh but sure I'll hit you up on msn and maybe you could discuss it further :)

Well the instructions from IB are clear in saying that you aren't allowed help from anyone, IIRC.
But yeah, hit up my msn. If you don't have my personal one, pm me :)

I suggest make your own ecosystem! It contains all three! :)
