Hey java programmng and SRL look

Ok I'am a noob when it comes to programming. I would like to know where should I start off.. I really want to make a java script for runescape. But If i started on srl scripts would it teach me how to make java scripts or are they totally different.. and id be wasting my time..

SCAR and Simba (the programs we script in) use pascal, so you would not be learning java, although a lot of people want to use a different language, so if you come back later maybe it could be changed. :)

Anyway, if you want to script in Java for Runescape, check out rsbot.org, or any of the other java rs bots (I think there are a few).
