Finalllyyyy..... SUPER TUT for the srl install

NOW,... before i spam alot, now i can help you guys.. Very touchyyy... I want to delet the theard that i post before... You will never get error from this tut.

TUT for srl install:
1) DOwnload srl 3.6 and scar.
2) Go to scar folder, delete the includes folder.
3) Go to srl, and extract the includes folder to scar(C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03)
4) NOw close all the window you open. I didn't mean to shut down the computer.
5) Go to scar's Plugins, and copy all the files in that folder. Using hotkey (ctrl+c)
6) Then delete the scar's Plugins folder.
7) NOw go to srl, and extract the whole Plugins folder in to scar.(C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03)
8) NOw close all the window you open. Didn't mean shut down your computer.
9) Go to scar, and go in Plugins
10) Use hotkey Paste( ctrl+v)
11) now go to scar's includes files, and go in SRl, and go in SetupSRl.
12) Start the script.
13) -Su-ccesfull, IT must work.:duh: :duh: :spot:


Do you know you guys do something wrong, like C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\includes\SRL/SRL.Scar
C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\includes\includes\SRL.Scar
C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\includes\includes\SRL\includes\SRL
The address above is gay, they all wrong, looks at the double folder name. That is why you guys has the same problem of install. The correct address for the setupsrl is C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\includes\SRL
And the correct address for the plugins is C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\Plugins
Some extract problem will double the folder you makes.
So this tut help to pervent the extract problem. XD

Althogh he did make a mistake, you don't need to delete anything, they should paste over/replace the older file. And yeah, you don't delete the plug-in folder twice.

First of all i would like to say that this is a good tutorial
it picked up the ball where the main tutorial dropped the ball
Second your tutorial would be better if you had pics
you also need more consistancy
it was a little confusing when you used extract and copy to mean the same thing
other than that good job

i wish this tut was out actually when i was having problems installing on my laptop :P nice tut, but shouldn't it be in the tutorial island section? since it is a tutorial. anyway still a good tut no matter what section of forum it's in :P
