View Full Version : Walking from wilderness to bank w/ DDTMs? RW? (other?)

Ready for a new one? I'm working on a program to kill black unicorns and bank their horns for herblore. Sure.... might not work considering I'm not some advanced God, but I always learn so much by failure.

So I can script the killing and the gathering so far (!!) but I cannot get it to return to varrock, my problems are:

1) Is autocolor/findvarrock road broken? My road script keeps failing... do I need to make my own "determine color" on the fly in game?

2) If ground changes... how am I going to code the wilderness treck? Set north and go straight by MM luck clicks? How would you go about that? Is should DDTM/radial walk work?

3) I don't understand tolerance too well, I just know it makes it easier to detect a color if you're wrong-- hell my definition could even be wrong. Could I use tolerance and DDTM's to trek the wildy?
Thanks

For such a long walk I would consider reflection walking instead of color.

Is reflection working? I thought it was broken and unusable. If it's somewhat working then that would be awesome!

Also, theoretically... how would one do it without reflection (in case it breaks again)?

Reflection works, as far as I know.

There are many trees. You could possibly make a pattern with them and click based on the TPA you find.

Also, don't forget a "in case of rev run to nearest safe spot/varr while having mage pray on" procedure.
