Sounds like your torrent was corrupt (>.>) or your burn was messed up.
Try burning it again at a friends house.

according to the sites i found on Google which redirected me to a Microsoft page, my boot sector has been corrupted and it wanted me to get a different SCSI or IDE driver or something like that >.<. I'm not on the webpage so i don't remember exactly
BTW what do you mean system disc. I'm using a Windows XP install disk, although i had windows 7 on before(it was a cracked version)
i also tried Ubuntu live, it didn't give me a stop error but when it restarted nothing had changed except when i booted without disk it said bootmgr was missing. If i attampted to install ubuntu i got a spamming message that i forget now. it was repeating itself in command line like 10-15 times per second

I am pretty sure Windows XP only supports harddrives running IDE mode, not SATA (most newer computers run SATA mode by default). You can change these settings in your BIOS.
Though you should just fully install Ubuntu and have fun with that, unless you'll miss out on some programs...

Well then, insert your XP disc, go to the recovery console and type fixmbr and fixboot.

Turn off AHCI in your BIOS, reinstall Windows, install the right drivers for your controller/chipset then turn it back on.
Error 7b is caused because it couldn't read the harddrive after BIOS handoff.
Other solution: get a floppy with the drivers and press F6.

You can try what Markus said, or give Linux a go. Even if you want to go back to Windows, you can install it temporarily to burn yourself a new Windows CD / torrent a new Windows.

Redownload the Ubuntu .iso and burn it using the slowest setting you can and then when it's all done, try again.

By rtfm'ing your manual of your motherboard (hint: you got it when you bought the PC, and else Google can find it for you. Really, it can).

well, i did say not to flame because i have searched Google and there is no manual. im not an idiot. i bought this stuff from a friend who was upgrading his PC.
i have an msi motherboard, it says p69 diamond on the motherboard. it also says ms-7320 ver:1.0
google isnt helping at all. nowhere can i find how to disable ahci and i still dont really know what it is, other than it has replaced ide(yes i did search google so no more flame)

Check out your BIOS settings. When you boot up the computer, before it moves into the XP boot, hit F keys, I don't remember off hand which it is.
Changing to a IDE HD state might help, but I'm not sure. I don't use windows very much.
Also, I know from experience that Ubuntu doesn't like some setting on HDD that Vista sets, and I assume 7 sets.
