I'm pretty sure you need a disk. That's how I did it anyways and it was a very basic install.

Well I have a disc and it wouldn't read it? I burned it off my dads pc but it wouldn't read in mine? It just kept on making noise and when it got to the screen with blue wallpaper it just sat there for ever and did nothing! I saw the cursor and I can move it but nothing was there but the blue wallpaper. My dvd drive was just making tons of noise and acting like it was hard to read? The disc has like no scratches on it at all! So the only way I can do it is through flash drive....

Try burning the disc again with the lowest speed possible.

Alright..... Probably won't work though. Using img burn by the way also you another burning software and it did the same thing.

EDIT: Writing at 2.0x speed.

EDIT: I got it working! I installed it through a flash drive! Took a long time to figure out though -_-

Care to share with the rest of the class? Been trying myself and it keeps failing. All I've been able to do is:
1- decompress the files into the flash drive
2- through command prompt navigate to the boot folder of the decompressed folder before passing files to flash drive
3- then typed "bootsect /nt60 X:" (X: being the flash drive letter)

and no luck

All you need to do is format the flash drive to take the .iso. Then, in BIOS change the settings so it boots off USB before the hard drives.

First result on google.
And, the best part: it's applicable to ANY .iso file!
.. I don't know what the hell I was thinking earlier. Anyway, you need to define various settings for the system to recognize images as bootable files.
