So apparently while I was gone scar has been heavily modified. It looks a lot different, and well anyways when I run this...
{.Include SRL\SRL.SCAR}
begin
SetUpSRL;
end.
I get this:
Compiling Error 68 Mouse.Scar Type Mismatch
So apparently my SRL is messed up or something. I used the Includes Manager to install SRL this time.

Well SCAR no longer supports SRL and/or the other way around, so use Simba.

Definitely.
SRL will only focus on Simba from now on, more or less.
IceFire added support for the upcoming SCAR 3.25, but atleast the upcoming SRL 5 will be Simba-only.
Besides, there are so many pros of switching to Simba that everyone should do it no matter what.

SRL 4 is cross compatible with Simba, SCAR 3.23 beta (rev 89), and SCAR 3.25 alpha (head rev) (no SMART for 3.25 yet).
A lot of the randoms and such were made in SCAR for SCAR and were tested, tweaked, and developed that way.
To say "Well SCAR no longer supports SRL and/or the other way around, so use Simba. " is simply biased and incorrect.
Only use simba if you want to, there's absolutely no necessity for it, and I'm rather disappointed with the responses I read in this thread.

There is a fully up-to-date version of SCAR that I don't know about? ;)
Freddy is currently struggling to keep SCAR updated, and has recently released a version of SCAR that (from the function list provided) still appears to have some bugs, and not many fixes.
Freddy has also (once again, to my understanding) released full support for SRL, and doesn't really care if it works with SRL anymore. Simba on the other hand, is fully compatible, and is geared to work with SRL. Obviously these errors are because SCAR can't read the code, if it worked with SCAR then I wouldn't have suggested Simba.

I must agree with IceFire all the way.

Well instead of needlessly throwing your opinion into a help thread, tell him why something such as SetupSRL wont work with SCAR? It's pretty obvious that SCAR wont work with SRL if you can't even set it up...

The person that made the first post in this thread obviously does not have it setup correctly, because it does work. You can see that when he said "I used the Includes Manager to install SRL this time." meaning he downloaded the version of SRL that is heavily outdated (non-opendev rep) when in fact he needs SRL open dev, not the latest copy of simba.
So instead of needlessly throwing your opinion into a help thread, try actually helping him instead of carelessly throwing around misinformative incorrect information.

I tried to help him actually. A valid solution for not having a program that you can make work is to switch to another program.
IE doesnt work? Switch to Firefox.
Ubu doesn't work? Switch to winblows (usually the opposite advice)
Etc.
Obviously there are multiple solutions to a problem. I wasn't saying yours was useless but throwing "I second Icefire" isn't going to help the solution at all. :)
