a myth! pfft... some of the best scripts were full color, and before reflection came out the good color ones worked better than almost every reflection script, IMO if a color scripts is scripted correctly, it is much better than reflection

I have no clue. I emailed someone that updates their own hooks and shared theirs for the last update.

And THIS is why people hate reflection.

It isn't supported well enough here, and the new people complain if it's down for over a day. Learn to script, it's not even a difficult task. If you have enough time to sit around and complain all the time about how hard it is, then you have enough time to learn. Take that 20 minutes of complaining and apply yourself, it's not like you're gaining anything by saying that you wish you could help.

I tried. Believe me. I failed epicly. Just like singing or playing an instrument, some people have a talent for it, some don't.

You don't need talent to learn. Any moron can learn to brush their teeth.

That's different. Scripting is much more complicated than a simple movement and applying toothpaste. Anyways, I really have tried. Several times. And as I said, I failed.

I know how you feel. I have school (I know, it's not as harsh as college) and band, choir, and french to do every day while Trying to get myself to make a successful script.

It really isn't that hard. PASCAL (which is what SCAR/Simba are based on) is basically Pseudocode (english):

program MoveTheMouse;

{.include SRL\SRL.scar}

begin
SetupSRL;
MMouse(250, 500, 3, 3);
end.

translates to:

This script is called MoveTheMouse.

Include the SRL.scar file so that below this line the script can access functions and procedures from SRL.

Start the main loop.
Prepare and setup the SRL library for use.
Move the mouse to coordinates between 250 (x), 500(y) and 252 (x), 502 (y).
End the main loop (Script stop).

Easy :D

You can understand some acronyms in method (procedures/functions) names by knowing what that method does. For example, if you know that MMouse moves the move, then you know that the first letter, 'M', means Move. etc etc.

You can do it, it's very simple. You just need motivation. It only took me a couple of days to write a basic script (and that was back in 2006 and I had no idea of SRL!), especially with today's ease-of-use. ;)

Actually, Python is commonly referred to as Pseudo code; Pascal looks a bit like english, but it is far from pseudocode.

Actually, Pseudo code is just pseudo code and can look like anything the creator wants it to look like. After all, it's just pseudo code

But colour scripts exist xD

Color scripts are mandatory for things that you can do nearby, but reflection is definitely the winner when it comes to walking long distances. You CAN technically do it in color (and some do), but knowing the tiles youre on and what tiles you can go to save tremendous time + allow for awesome debugging/unique failsafes.

Of course as everyone said, when Jagex updates-- it goes down. Color scripts will rarely/if ever break unless some massive update occurs.
