I thought that it would be fun to play a little bit with the battlescape client.
BattleScape is a runescape private server.
Battle scape forums can be found here: palidino.com
And the webclient here: palidino.com/client.php
Loader: http://www.palidino.com/client/loader.jar(Addres can be found from the html source code of the webclient)
Client: http://www.palidino.com/client/client.jar(Addres found after decompiling the loader)
Use this to decompile: http://java.decompiler.free.fr/
Loader loads the client. Client only loads from palidino.com but that could easy be edited in the client so it does.
My current plan:
1) Downloading the client. - done
2) Decompiling it. - done
2) Modifying it. - I think I can do it. (This is not even neccessary at first)
3) Compiling it again. - I think I can do it.
4) Running the modified client. - I think it's usually done with a batch file but I have no idea :(
