11:30pm here

Started my first script today "The Gits Abattoir"
Basic outline is going to evolve from a cow killer, to a bone burrier than finally a cow hide banker. Ive read through a fair few tuts and basically just done the outline of my program.

At the moment the program is able to login and write a progress report.
My main problem is with finding colours and making the mouse move to them.
I declared the three colours as variables with the others. I than get stuck trying to make it work? Really lost on this

Also read a few different opinions on how i should have colouring, What would be the best way? i would rather spend 2 hours learning it now than 4 hours later trying to rewrite the script later.

thanks

Bitmaps are the best for finding colors/objects on the main screen. For the inventory and bank definitely use DTMs.

FindBitmapsProgressiveTol(bmp1,bmp2,bmp3,bmp4,bmp5 ,tolmax,step,xs,ys,xe,ye:integer):boolean;

FindBitMapTol(var TX,TY:integer; BitMap,x1,y1,x2,y2:integer):Boolean;

FindBitMapTolRaiser(BitMap,x,y,StartingTol,EndingT ol,p1,p2,p3,p4:Integer):Boolean;

FindDeformed(var Xoff,Yoff: integer; BMP,a,b,c,d: integer):
Boolean;

FindObjectDeformed(var ObjX, ObjY: Integer; UpText1, UpText2: String; BMP, a, b, c, d: Integer): Boolean;

Or you can use srl, for example... you wanted your script to move to a cookery by it finding the symbol on the mini map you would type: If FindSymbol(X,Y,'Cookery') Then
Mouse(X,Y,5,5,True);

Rise, if you don't know what the hell you're talking about, then don't talk about it.

Rise, you really should read the rules (http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1206?goto=newpost). Please don't bump old topics.
