Help mining rune F2p

hi, i have 88 mining and was wondering if anyone could share some tips to help me mine rune ore in F2P

I think you can only mine it in the wilderness so I would recommend you bring some food. You should switch worlds after you mine the rock because it takes ages for the ore to get rune back on :p (I think there is a timer script somewhere in the forums). I never mined it in f2p so I don't really know how you should bank it, maybe wilderness volcano?

yeah its deep wilderness, it is pretty tedious, i changed tabs for a second and got killed by a renavant also its pretty competitive.... i dont know if its worth the work =]

I don't think so either. Too many people in F2P over 71K of players have reached 85 mining :(

In my opinion it isn't worth it. Only like 13k per ore, and the amount of time it takes to get one ore is soo much more than coal/mith/addy.

If you enjoy the suspense of waiting and the high chance of being killed, you should do it, else stick with coal/mith/addy for money :P

Or get 45 dungeoneering ;) or whatever the req. is for the guild. I will probably be filled to the brim though

yes, its 45 dungeoneering, and most of the people who mine runite are bots, (thats a guess, but its probably true), which means they don't bother doing dungeoneering, as thats too hard to bot (yet)
