I was looking at the grand exchange on runescape.

I want to be able to do something like this:

http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Unfinished_potions

But in excel where I can refresh all the values myself.

I try to "Get External Data" and do the web portion. I put in the URL, but when it browses to the webpage, all it lets me select is the entire page.

How can I pull specific values from the page? I'm sure they're assigned in the php or html or something, so couldn't it pull the value from the specific variable or whatnot?

Thanks

Do you mean like grabbing the numbers as in prices?

I have it somewhere in my script, as long as you have the ID's, just copy the code :)

Ya. All I want it to do, is grab the "Market Price:" value from the runescape page and put it into a cell which I can interact with in normal excel ways.

Alright, I used that and did it in script form.

Not as nice and neat as excel though :).

For Google Docs it's like this

=Index(ImportHtml(Concat("http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results.ws?query=",E34), "table",2),2,3)

Edit: btw E34 is the cell with the name, ie 'bronze bar'
