Overtime

Alright, so I'm not really a HIGH-End gamer atm, but my goal is too build one bad ass computer in the future, which can be 2-10 years from now... lol.
But the fact that I like having the equipment makes me feel good, because I know that i have a computer thats built by me. Right now im currently on a budget computer that i paid for about $250. I'm using a 80gb Hard drive from a Pentium 4 dell (Dell 8400 actually) and a ATI Radeon HD 4350,in which i bought at Best Buy 1 year ago.
So my Girlfriend has been bugging me what I want for Christmas. And i told her simply, "A Computer Case" she paused and looked at me like if I was being serious.
She hates my nerdy ways, she actually made a account on here, called "Peter_scandrid" or w/e and msg'd me asking what "he" should get for his little brother since he was into computers.
I replied back,
A. G15 Gaming Keyboard
B. Razor Mamba
C. Hard Drive
D. Computer Case
All which I currently have except! The computer case.
Im currently running a CoolerMaster 212 Cooler, im sure you guys have seen it or heard of it and seen how huge it is, so this mid-size case is farley to narrow and i have to have the side of the case off. On top of that, with the side on, my tempatures rise to 50 degree Celsius! Mind you, this is on a freshly installed Windows 7.
Currently I'm at 48 degree Celsius at 2.6ghz running TWO SRL bots.
So as you can probably guess, it's Warm in my room, as any computer room would.
So back to the point and sorry for the dull conversation. But which computer case should I get?? My two choices are:

Am i being too greedy as the Full-Tower is $140 and the Mid-size is $90?
I need help on deciding, im also afraid the Full-Tower will be really HUGE as it does way 30 pounds sand its 22x9x22! :O
