View Full Version : Error compiling in SCAR

My scar has problems running any type of scar scripts, it says

Compiling Error Line 68, File: Mouse.Scar, Type Mismatch

I got the latest version of SCAR from http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease/
(http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease/), I also downloaded all the files that are in there.

Also my computer runs Windows 7 32 bit, if that makes any difference.

The problem is not with the scripts, since some of them run perfectly fine on Simba.

Does anyone know why this is happening? (Is this even the right spot to post this problem here?)

Try Simba instead.

I think that SRL only works on Simba now and/or that SCAR is not used by the SRL devs (but I am not sure, I just know a lot of people here don't use SCAR anymore, and that most newer scripts are designed for Simba). Try out Simba.

You are using the wrong SRL use Open dev SRL instead. Obviously the problem isn't that you are using SCAR

I deleted my old srl and installed srl open dev, and i still get errors when i run compile srl script. Here they are:

* Compiling error line 762, file magic.scar, unknown identifier 'SetToleranceSpeed2Modifiers'

* Compiling error line 41, file findxp.scar, Type Mismatch

* Compiling error line 425, file users.scar, Invalid number of parameters

* Compiling error line 203, file smartcolors.scar, Type Mismatch

Interesting. Re-update your SRL.

Non-core SRL has compiling problems.... Apparently CompileSRL.scar needs some patching up.

Tried re-updating and even deleted everything and installed again, but still same problems.

You can not possibly have the same problems you mentioned before.

What are you trying to run? There are very few SCAR compatible scripts out there.
