well, i was running narcles fast fighter, killing cows, and playing cod, i look over, and bam, theres a window with a form to change my accounts recoverys. i thought, this is strange. cuz i trust everything at SRL. so, i decided to take a screenshot, sorry, i exited out of the window with my recov changing on it. but heres an SS of an error that looks suspicious. This has also happened on another account on mine while using the MSI Phoenix woodcutting script, i just thought nothing of it. thought it was a bug. but now im getting a bit concerned and suspicious.

You're mistaken. What you saw is the "Create Account Now" screen. Similar has happened to me. I wouldn't worry about it.

no, it had a form to set new recoverie's up sir, look at the end of the link in the error. it even says new recoveries, but on top of that, it was LOGGED IN to my account on the RS website, and i sure as hell didnt log it in.

Post the script you are using in that picture exactly as it is minus the user details..

something in the script glitched, and clicked the new recovery button. it happens from time to time, besides, narcles fast fighter is safe(its an old, very popular script) :)

I do know that, however the script may have been tampered with so I was gonna check. Also, I am not aware of how the new layout of RuneScape is as I have not opened it in a longggg time. So, yeah if there is a new recovery button as Awkward says, that is likely the case :).

in the lobby menu, have one of the different dropdowns open. the link to reset your recovs opens the page on the rs site, with your character logged in. The script couldn't switch clients to do this if it wanted anyways.

No problem, it just looks better when you spell things correctly.

Yea something is hitting the set recoveries option on the new login, Ive come back to my computer with Chrome up and about 15 tabs open with the recovery questions screen on it. If you notice RIGHT below the login button there is a link that says "Recover your password".

EDIT: By the way, this is the third thread started in the public scripts section that doesn't seem like it should not be here.

Aside from you being extremely off topic, your signature has a spelling (grammar) mistake.

On topic, this has all been covered. It's not a hack, it's an error in SRL that just kinda happens, I'm sure the devs are aware.

Yeah man, that website is just where I test things but the home page is nothing I have other directories that are private where I test php coding and such. I am, of course, always on MSN because my computer is never off :).

Moved to a better section.
You are probably using an outdated SRL/script, that might not like the recent update and thus clicks wrong. Both MSI and SRL are completely safe to use and will never steal your account.

I had the exact same problem upon running the MSI Woodcutting script. When I returned to check up on it, a window was opened that looked like this.

I guess it's just a glitch from the newly added buttons on the runescape page?
As I know that SRL and MSI are both completely trustworthy.

I think its just a minor bug. The devs are well aware, it's been a problem that has been reoccurring for a while now.

No, it literally clicks on something on the login screen that opens up that page.
