Karamja Fisher!

What is this?:
It will fish on Karamja dock (Free To Play). Levels 1-99 supported! Levels 1-34 can use the small fishing net, levels 35-39 using harpoon, and levels 40-99 using lobster cage! (You can mix and match any of these however you like, this is just the default setting). It will then turn Lobsters, Swordfish, and/or Tuna into Bank notes at Stiles (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Stiles)! You *will* make lots of cash off this script!

What do I do?:
Place your character on the fishing dock in Karamja!

Also has a ton of other cool stuff!
Auto updating,
Failsafes - if you are detected as lost, it will log out.
Should detect all randoms - if not, the developers are to blame ;P
Anti-ban.
Switches world every ~25 minutes (can disable in settings, if you wish).
Automatically turns Lobsters, Swordfish, and/or Tuna into Bank notes at Stiles (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Stiles)!
Simple to setup and use!
Should be very stable.
(Yeah, I ripped a lot out of my slinger, deal with it :D)

it is NOT tracking the randoms if that "Rand: " at the end is for randoms

I did get 1 random, it was the one where you have to match the lady and find her evil twin.. and put her in the cage, it was done perfectly and completed quickly...

and then it went back out and started fishing again

but never tracked it I guess

I don't know why I don't remove that Rand: part from the proggy, because SRL doesn't use it that often anyways. You can ignore it for the most part.

0.2 out, fixed a rare out-of-range error (I think).

I was fishing at the time... Also I dont think I had 12 certers and 16 capt's... in only 13 hours... unlikely...

All in all - Script is EPIC +1

EDIT: oh yea, minus one thing... Had to note out the drop function... had 200k in my inv (from selling fish from a few days ago) and it dropped it :(

I tested it a bit, I'd say lobbies because sword is only a bit higher and tuna is lower

so getting lobbies 100% of the time is great

of course fly fishing is the quickest ~.~ but NO!

Update your reflection for the arnav fix.

He probably went false due to the certer random's detection as well (has the same problem that Arnav had - hopefully it will be fixed in the SVN soon).
"Fish caught" counts only increased when a fish is noted; will not count when a fish is dropped (net fishing).

Oh yeah, that explains it. and thanks mormonman, let's see if it happens again :)

Abyss was fixed in a reflection update last night.

0.4 released; some logic fixes (make the script "smarter"), more randomness on some stuff, and speeded up some sections a lot for more fish per hour.

I don't like the idea of "amount to fish" at the moment. If you wish to add it to your version, it shouldn't be too hard to add to your copy:

1) Find line "WriteLn('[REPORT]');"
2) After it add the following:
if (Players[CurrentPlayer].Integers[1] > 42) then
begin
WriteLn('Max fish caught.');
NextPlayer(False);
end;

3) Script will now change player (or stop the script if you only have one player), once that player catches 42 (or more) fish. Change the 42 in the above code to suit your desires. Would look something like this (http://i.imgur.com/0MH0S.png). Good luck!

Harry is pretty lazy so I wouldn't count on it. All you have to do is goto the cockroach place and get the 10k + 2 EXP lamps.

The lamps are worth 1k EXP together that you can use on def, gets you really close to 10 def. Spend the 10k on a def ammy.

That is, if the reason why you want that is because you are worried about dying. Those scorpions aren't that tough you know ;).

but it should hover over and select harpoon fishing spot i think. I'm not exactl ysure how it works~~

Yeah, harpoon fishing is broken due to this bug (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61742). Try out cage and it should work.

You need a Lobster pot to fish!
Either set AutoLevel to False, or put this fishing tool into your inventory.

All my players have a lobster pot/ the right levels. :S
Pretty sure my reflection is up to date too 636 rev 2?

Yeah, the hooks are broken still for R_CountItemName :/ Set Strings[1] for each player to the proper tool ('cage' as an example) and it should bypass that check.

Working perfectly atm :) however just to point out I got a division by 0 warning, I assume it was this line of code.

I clicked cancel by accident, it froze my pc :'(

Eh, that shouldn't happen. In fact I think it's impossible for that equation to ever divide by 0. Did the error not give a line number?

Your Simba probably goofed up and that's why it got the error, it has nothing to do with my div I don't think. It's impossibru under normal circumstances for GetTimeRunning to be <1.

Restart Simba and don't worry about it, and it shouldn't happen again.

It was working just fine and when i went to start the script back up this morning i got the following error.

The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Nevermind i figured out how to fix it. If anyone else has this problem the fix is found here.

Now it won't logg in. It brings up the client screen. It just sits there. It don't display an error or crash. :/ Any suggetions

Ok figured it out. :) Runescape reset my settings. Once i set them back it works. :)

Yeah, harpoon fishing is broken due to this bug (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61742). Try out cage and it should work.

I've noticed that it always talks to the stiles guy twice, even after it has deposited the fish the first, probably not good for detectability stuff..

No, you can try bumping it though I guess.

That happens usually when you lag and it thinks your inv is still full. You can probably add a failsafe there, and it doesn't happen too often though in my experience.

Download the latest reflection and it will work now. The released reflection update 10 minutes ago has the fix, might take a while for your Simba to download it.

Stupid question but it's got me kinda confused. We should now use GIT instead of the old SVN link to get the latest reflection updates right (instead of just waiting for Simba to prompt us I mean)? Can we check-out GIT links like we could with SVN by simply right clicking the reflection folder on the Simba\includes directory?

Thanks for the words and reports.

0.8 out. Fixes some rare misclicks on users when it should be clicking the fishing pool. More failsafes to Stiles, so it will not click him more than once. Harpoon has been removed from the auto rotation, as r_ChooseOption does not handle the context menu properly.

It shouldn't cause any problems and will automatically fix itself once it changes player. The script uses reflection object finding, so it should find the objects regardless of the compass angle or direction. However, reflection shouldn't be changing those settings to begin with (or if they do change it, revert back to how it was pre-random) *mumble mumble*.

There is a different between autoing on a members account and on a f2p account AFAIK. Jagex are a lot more lenient to the former. Again, this is only through my experience of autoing for a good few years. You could still be right but I prefer to auto on the safe side.

You are right, it didnt have any problems. But you said it will fix it self once it changes player... but for users who use 1 player that will be a problem.

I know that it wont effect the script at all, as it did 5 loads back and forth for me till i put it back to north, but you can never know and as a precaution it should be set back to north.

Just started to RS again now that they fixed the reason why I left, going to try and refresh my scripting knowledge, but I was wondering what item you used to define the fish items. Was going to try and tweak it to keep some of the nicer random gifts.

I notied at lines 520 - 525 is your inventory check section for what to keep and drop.. Where are those numbers derived from exactly? Did you all release a database with a bunch of colors and name of items while I have been out of the loop? =)

It'll click where my mouse is (third one down) and keeps doing the same thing till it gets lucky and right clicks where people aren't (so it can see the net option)

These are using 'net' and are low level

It's clicking "fishing spot" it is not going over to the side tab by the way, just saw you can't see my mouse

The one it always clicks will be 'cage' fishing because that's the third "fishing spot" always

so if you're harpooning / netting it says on runescape "blah blah blah" for me it says "you need a higher fishing level to fish with a cage" or something..

Really great script, failed on a Mordaut unfortunately.

I used to have this problem, it is caused by having favorite worlds selected. Somehow this messes up something, I'm not sure how. Just remove your favorite worlds and you'll login faster.

Install SRL through the Simba Extensions menu.

Also v1.0 out, SRL stats + how much exp you gained and per hour.

Lobsters are quicker I think. Swordfish don't work properly if I recall correctly, so just stick with lobsters.

Yeah do lobs. Swordfish sometimes messes up with the clicking if there's a shit ton of guys on the same spot.

To help fix that, perhaps you (Harry) could rotate the camera south while it's fishing so that people on the dock don't get in the way of the fishing pools, then just rotate back north once you have a full load (or not, since reflection doesn't care which way the camera is faced). :)

Complaint: I have found that there are problems when switching worlds. It doesn't press play in the first or sometimes even second try.
Suggestion: When entering a new world it would be best if you changed the camera angle to the south and all the way up. That also prevents the harpooning problem.

World Switching is SRL's fault. Doesn't happen often (at least not for me), and corrects itself quickly.
South Camera would be easy to change to, but that doesn't totally fix the issue. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It counts how many people are located on the dock with you, on your current world. Not necessary ALL botters, but it's a good chance that 95% of them are :p

What is this?:
It will fish on Karamja dock (Free To Play). Levels 1-99 supported! Levels 1-34 can use the small fishing net, levels 35-39 using harpoon, and levels 40-99 using lobster cage! (You can mix and match any of these however you like, this is just the default setting). It will then turn Lobsters, Swordfish, and/or Tuna into Bank notes at Stiles (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Stiles)! You *will* make lots of cash off this script!

What do I do?:
Place your character on the fishing dock in Karamja!

Auto updating,
Failsafes - if you are detected as lost, it will log out.
Should detect all randoms - if not, the developers are to blame ;P
Anti-ban.

Automatically turns Lobsters, Swordfish, and/or Tuna into Bank notes at Stiles (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Stiles)!
Simple to setup and use!
Should be very stable.
(Yeah, I ripped a lot out of my slinger, deal with it :D)

the bot count counts the amount of people in the dock with you. not all of them are bots, but there is a good chance most of them are.

Yeah, it says that at the top of script information when you download it. Why would you keep money when you're fishing anyways? (just uses an extra slot that could be filled with a lobster for more exp/fish per hour)

He probably took a lot of money to pay the 30 gp for the boat;) I do that all the time when i play legit just take 50k if i go somewhere so i definitely got enough money on me:) But not a smart idea while gathering fish/ores/logs/whatever because of the invent space and not a good idea when botting either

it is not detecting lobster pots now, i did a quick fix with a dtm.

I think the reflection hooks are messed up too since it has been messing up and not using random event boxes

And the solver actually got all the keys correctly, it just wasn't leaving the prison(closing the chat with pete).

Almost all of my characters are at least 40 fishing from level 1 in roughly two days... this script has an amazing longevity!

Using this to fish lobsters. Notice it somethings misclicks (like way way off from the menu option).

After watching it closely for a while noticed that on a crowded world will sometimes mistake another player of the same/similiar level (who's name appears yellow) as the menu option.

I set it up so that it would stop when you got to 'desiredlevel' which was in this case 40. However on the final log out it doesn't post your level, so the proggy thinks its 39 but reflection knows its 40.

So yeah the first two were already 40 (using your script) and that's another 6 40's and a couple of 30's in under 30 hours :D all netting shrimp and anchovies

Install Windows/Bootcamp/whatever your OS has that allows you to run Windows programs. WINE (http://www.winehq.org/) might work, but I think Bootcamp is easiest.

Are you cage or harpooning? Harpooning doesn't work properly but cage should.

I'm caging, sometimes when the script has to click through other bots and the menu will change to something like this:

Cancel
Bot1
Bot2
Bot3
...
Fishing spot

edit: the right click menu has so many bots the cage option isn't on the screen
edit2: easy way to fix this is to rotate the camera heh

Cancel should be last, and useable places such as fishing spot should be at top.... I don't know if it's a Jagex bug or what? Can someone report it to them if you think it's a bug?

Jagex messed up the looting system (low value loot appeared on the top), and when they tried to fix it, they messed up the right click options.
