I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but has the code;8 problem been fixed yet? I've been searching the forums but it isn't clear weather the problem has been properly addressed or not.

Not as of yet AFAIK.
Although it would be helpful to know in wizzup?'s search for the issue, do you experience it with scripts that do not use reflection?

I took a 3 year hiatus from Runescape, and therefore, autoing. How would one tell if their script uses reflection? Judging by the {$i reflection\reflection.simba} at the beginning of my scripts, one that has reflection has this problem, the other two, one with reflection and one without, do not have the problem. If you'd like, i can refer you to the three scripts.

Hobbit, afaik it's only ever happened when reflection tries to solve certain randoms (Gravedigger, Pinball are the only two I know of)

For me, it does not only happen when solving randoms. It occurs every 1 to 1.2 repetitions in http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59944&highlight=infinity+guild+miner which i have 'updated' using Markus's advice to "Replace GetObjectsById with GetObjectsByIdEx and GetPlayers by GetAllPlayers". I believe i have Simba fully updated along with Reflection and SRL. However, i could be wrong.

His last post in that thread says the script isn't usable due to code 8

If it is believed to be a randoms problem, then it might be worth looking into why this script also produces the problem? I don't know anything about this problem so this is just an idea.

Hobbit, afaik it's only ever happened when reflection tries to solve certain randoms (Gravedigger, Pinball are the only two I know of)I got it when trying to run another script inside Simba while MSI was already running. I am certain that the player was not inside a random, as I was developing Cooking and was constantly keeping an eye on the screen, but it might be that Reflection returned false positives about being inside a random, but I find that unlikely though...

Well it's still something to do with Reflection, I don't know what though. I always thought that it was the randoms because it was the only time I got it..
I just dont ever have complaints of it happening in my script. Maybe there is an error when the script doesn't find what it wants? I have a lot of colour basis for my script though so reflection doesn't really come into play much except randoms if the user chooses to use them.

I really don't know anything about this, but might someone who better understands the fine art of autoing running Infinity: Guild Miner narrow down what exactly is causing this problem if specifics are unknown?
