Btw, no where in the USA do they teach Dutch.
Very few people even know where English comes from - a mix of the Germanic language and Early Dutch.

Well, that's the grammar (which, compared to Roman languages, indeed looks a lot like Germanic ones) The words however are mostly Romanic.
