What is the best way of finding an object that is constantly moving using color?

This object never stops...

I dont know if DTM's or bitmaps would be good for this because it is always moving.

Frame differencing would work well, but it's not plausible without a plugin.

TPA's work well, especially if you use a couple different colors, join the arrays, split them, and then remove the outliers.

Check for the color every couple hundred milliseconds. You can use paintsmart.scar to show you how it's working. That's the simplest solution in my opinion.

Never fails :)

What is the quickest color detection system and how fast is it. I might have to be checking every 200-300 ms. I'm planning on autoing another game.

Definitely using TPA's, very fast too.

Any reasonable object detection will run in under 300ms. And if you need it to run faster, you can always drop it into a plugin.

I don't have much programming/scripting experience, but Ill see if its fast enough. If not then is there a tutorial on plugins and stuff?

I want to say Shuttleu wrote one a while back, but I'm not positive. I know there is one here though, because I know how to do it. ;)

Quite similar to writing a function in Simba actually.
