how to change s.m.a.r.t's settings

Hi i need some help on changing smarts settings so it opens up in facebook because I would like to auto on a facebook app. scar or simba dont matter but im more familiar with scar. thanks if you help by yours truely. - wantonman

You can use a VM. There are many tuts to setting up a VM in your computer ...

virtualbox is free, just get an operating system

are you sure a virtual machine is the only way to go? well... editing S.m.a.r.t's settings whould be more ideal for me...

That works too... I find VM's soo convenient though and best of all easy/free to set up.

Umm I looked at the smart code before and I'll tell u know, changing that will do nothing for u... smart has the website embedded into it.. you'd actually have to edit the source code yourself and recompile it..

There is no way to just do it with a script.. I was also trying something like that in order to remove smart from automatically putting me in safemode because I'd like to use opengl but Im too lazy to recompile smart and it has bugs when recompiling..

So good luck doing that but its the only way for you to connect it to facebook.

yeah but for programmers sake lol editing those underlined values properly should do the trick but im no expert and im sure mass error will occur

No that will not work, SMART is specifically for RuneScape. Look up Appa here on the forums, it may or may not work for you. Past that, a VM is the easiest route.

Download SCAR and APPA (APPA doesn't work for Simba, for those wondering). That would suit your needs

ok so i got virtualbox and windows xp XD. everythings good, but on a side note windows wont let me activate its product key. says ive mistyped something everytime and ive tried 3 working keys!

Just get a preactivated ISO (or windows 7 + loader, which is easier, but harder on your RAM)
