I think eventually more people will start playing them. There's not a whole lot Jagex can do about bots now. While private servers are maintained by the same people who quit Runescape because of this reason, they have the ability to do a better job of stopping bots. Reports in servers are actually read and mods in servers actually ban on the spot. There will eventually be no advantages to playing Runescape over a private server, eventually every aspect of the game can and will be cloned by private servers.

Yea there is a bot for RSCE, but some people don't consider that a true private server I think.

I've used Simba to macro 99 agility on a private server, so yes people do bot on private servers :p

As for thpgdk's question, Frugooscape isn't RSC, its based off of the 317 client revision.

Sorry, how did you do that? İs everything compatible with private servers, ie. hooks?

I believe Mopar has a Private Server client for 317 (?) servers with Aryan built-in. You can make java scripts with that.
