View Full Version : If I Wanted to Mass Bot a Bunch of Accounts at Once

So, let's say I wanted to bot like 5+ accounts at the same time.
I assume since I will be doing this all from one computer, each logged in account will have the 'same' IP address/Jagex will know they are all from the same machine?
So what are some precautions I can take in order to safely bot multiple accounts from the same computer?

Unless you have multiple Internet connections for one house, and somehow on a single computer, there's nothing you could do, afaik.
You could proxy them or whatever, but it doesn't matter. They don't care.

You can run as many accounts as you want as long as they aren't on the same world.. I suppose Jagex can detect it but they don't seem to do anything about it. If you run unsigned then you can have multiple on the same world even.

Yeah I'm aware than I can log into as many accounts as I wish from one computer.
I'm just more concerned about Jagex's possible caring about so many multiple logins.
I guess I can just try and do it for a while and see if anything happens... I'm just a very precautious /safe guy.

Fair enough. I know someone that has been running 3-4 bots as much as possible (nearly 24/7, unless the scripts fail :P) on the same computer, none have been banned. But there's always a risk I suppose :)

I suppose they could see that you have x connections coming from a certain IP but hey, for all they know it's a school or computer cafe.

They didn't care about my 12 logins, they cared more if I autoed 12+hours/day/char.

You 12 log ined before? Why? How often?
And are you saying you got an account you autoed 12h/day for banned?

All of my bans were either due to stupidness (Mage Me Fast got a 7-day at my main because I took antiban out) or due to excessive autoing (> 12hrs/day at a char).
And I didn't log in at 12 that often but I always had 3 or 4 running :p And why? Because I could.

Keep in mind, Jagex detection is very minimal, from what I've seen. They did something about WT messing with their .dat files or whatever awhile ago, but I'm positive that almost every single ban from using srl (and even Java bots) is only because an account gets reported. I autoed for four days straight with a less than 50 line color script to get 99 craft, and still no ban. I just don't understand how that wouldn't get me a ban, but 12+ would, if it's done by Jagex (without a report).

Run each bot in a VM and make each vm connect though a VPN

^ What simtoon said.
And or, you can hater block. You could set up a firewall on your computer and while you are talking other precautions, you can manage what signals are allowed to and from your machine.
... ... .. or... you could set up vm and have a bunch of network cards in your computer and have each vm running a different network card... ( one of my computers at work runs 4 network cards on it... and a few partitioned drives.) it's fun.
there are plenty of good vpn's out there. I know that is also how some people are able to push out of a network and allow p2p traffic to their computer ( they vpn to ausyland)

I've done it before and nothing happened. You don't need to install 6 virtual machines and use 6 different VPN's like simtoon stated, just do it all at once, i've done it multiple times before, and it has all been fine.

Yeah I remember that picture nice :D. Computer specs?
How long/often did you bot on those?
Thanks for the info everyone, I agree I think Jagex doesn't check enough to care unless reports and whatnot, I'll just make a new army and see how it goes botting like 6+ on one computer.

I actually haven't made the accounts yet, but check out this thread:

Jagex had to support multiple log ins from one IP. This is frequently the case on schools with multiple legits...

I've been botting with 12+ accounts lately, brilliant way to bring in cash. Been doing it for about a month and not a single one is banned (bearing in mind that they've all been going pretty much 24/7). I could bot more, but because of my bandwidth, each individual bot starts to slow down.
It really doesn't matter how many accounts are logged in from the same IP, it seems you can even log more than one player onto the same world simutaneously now.

I use hotmail.
I generally bot for 2-3hrs, but that's just me. You can probably bot for 6hrs + and get away with it.
My computer specs? Not exactly sure, i got 4gb ram and some amd athlon processor. my gpu is a 9800gt

Don't bother with the virtual machines.
Just bot straight off your normal OS.
"If" they cared about multiple logins from the same "location" then they would implement a system where you would have to apply for multiple accounts. But they don't.
I normally run 5 or 6 at a time. 5 x 5 x 5. So there is always 5 accounts logged in, then they switch and another 5 login.

smart_Signed := False
Shouldn't that be ok?
