View Full Version : Updating broken in Simba?

Hi,

For the last few days I have been trying to update SRL/Reflection/MSI via the built-in extensions in Simba. I kept getting "No [...] update available" messages. At that point I deleted the MSI folder to see if updating was completely broken and it is. I reinstalled Simba to no avail. I cannot think of anything that changed with my computer.

Am I the only one having this issue? Any advice?

Thanks!

Delete the settings.xml file in the Simba folder, and then try again :)

Thanks! That did the trick.

I might end up updating the Updater to keep a "version" file in the folders, instead of in settings.

Couldn't you keep it in the srl.simba file?

@line1~ // #746

etc? Or would you need it to check every file?

Well atm were using a handler for updaters.

in the srl updater we just

{$I Updater.sei}
and SetupUpdater

and your done

(Its not that simple but that explains it.)

So im gonna be updating Updater.sei and since its a handler we cant really expect everything that it updates to have a srl.simba.
