Well unfortunantly I need to start dungeoneering again. And as we all know iDungeon is Rsbot supported unfortunately =/.

So last week there was viruses going around etc, and I don't really hang out there much obviously, so does anyone know if its safe to use?

Thanks!

Try out RSBuddy. I don't think their Dungeoneering bots are as good, but I'd use RSBuddy over RSBot any day.

I really would as well, but ah the circumstances.

I still have v 2.39 and use it. As long as you haven't updated it you should be fine, but if you have updated it, then I would be a little iffy on using it.

so i have used rsbot for a couple years on and off...
I've never been hacked. My advice if you are scared:
Bank valuables, set bank pin, take a chill pill.
With dungeoneering you never need to bank. Dont even give the bot your pin.
I've been using iDung for a while, (:
RSbuddy's dungeoneering bot doesnt work AT ALL. will fail puzzles, even the easy ones.
Edit: btw im running 2.45 dev beta rsbot. iDung is at V1.44 (:

I'm horrible in Dungeoneering so today I ran RsBuddy's Dungeoneering bot and I really must say, I'm very disappointed. My highest exp/hour is 2.7k. It probably has alot to do with whatever I have my 'Current Progress' set to... I'm horrible when it comes to this skill, but is 2.7k/hour normal in the upper 50's?

look at the last update for rsbuddy's dungeoneering bot... lol.
i told you it doesn't work.
no 2.7k exp an hour is terrible.

im not realy sure but my stats are

CB: 82 or sumthing
ATK:68
STR:80
DEF:70
CONST:72

i dont get much better than that . between 1.9k and 2.5 - 2.8k an hour
so i would Say it is about average . (thats using RsBuddies ProDungeon and ArteDungeon)

footballjds

i'm, getting 27k exp/hour at 70+ dungeoneering on my zerker pure with iDungeon.

Moral to the story?

US RSBOT and USE iDung.

What are your settings for the script? I'm maxed combat (minus Summoning and 97 Defence) and I was getting no more than 2.7k/hour.

@footballjds:
I think I'll stick to reflection only.

rofl. okay. then write a duneoneering bot because RSbuddy uses injection before compiling same as RSBot does.

2.7k an hour is piss poor, I got more xp than that hourly when I just started dungeoneering.

lol although it may just be me but i get noticable lag when using RSBuddy ..
if i change to simba or Official Client it goes (so it is RsBuddy)
so maby thats why i get such low XP/Ph

altho that dont explain why it happens to Flight.?

Edit: By Noticable lag i mean i may as well be in soul wars sometimes .

when using rsbuddy be sure to click on the tab that the bot is running in.
sometimes it loses focus of that and it puts you in spectate mode. kinda odd. but it RAPES your CPU. :p

as far as to Flight's issue with shit exp.
RSbuddy does not have a bot that can do dungeoneering. PERIOD.
your better off running a woodcutting script and hoping it missclicks are lined up and it manages to get you dungeoneering exp.

idungeon is one of the easiest to crack.
i'm not going to promote this...... because im a paid user i don't feel morally wrong talking about it :p
According to a trusted source it only calls/checks twice to see if your auth'd. once in the loader and once in the actual script.
someone used my auth before and cracked it in 5 minutes. I'm not lending out my auth to anyone here so don't bother asking. But i'm just say'n :p

That was due to a modified/infected/whatever modscript that LastCoder gave to Paris.

Well unless one of you can point me in the way of what you would recommend to be a safely 'cracked' idungeon I'll have to stick to RsBuddy's 1.5k-2.7k per hour script. Or find a team in-game that would accept a nub like me.

Question to anyone using Rsbot 2.44 (since I can't get onto the actual site--can never connect): is there a way to add precompiled scripts anymore? I can only find the "add from URL" option, and I really just want to add from the local drive.

Just so any of u know... check this out.. it is true.. I've verified it myself: http://rsbuddy.com/forum/rsbot-malicious-code-threat-38180.html

PowerBot has added: 127.0.0.1 Powerbot.org <---- Removed it in 2.44 and added 127.0.0.1 rsbuddy.com...

they tried to frame rsbuddy to make users think rsbuddy blocked them from visiting powerbot.. then 2.44 came out to undo what was done... now in 2.45 beta that was found..

Oh yeah and everytime u run the client.. MS.Dat is re-downloaded.. so if your on windows, the hosts file will change again.. just saying.. for anyone who does not download from the github.. get urself a decompiler and check for urself.

As previously stated by me, the malicious modscript was supposedly provided by LastCoder. It has since been replaced by a normal one. About 3 hours ago, it was replaced with the one that blocked rsbuddy.

what if we update from github?

It does not change the fact that the modscript that was the cause of recent malicious activity is supplied from a source outside of GitHub.

And no more mod script.
Just paril <3 drama...
