Unlocking a Phone.

Is there a good way for people to unlock high end phones (HTC's Samsung's).

When I went to unlock my phone I called my operator and told them I was giving my phone to my brother who is on another network, I gave them the IMEI and they told me the unlock code and how to enter it.

For unlocking mobile without vain follow the instructions here http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/ They are nearly perfect with google checkout and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums. I followed the instructions there , then i got the unlock code here http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/supported-phones/rs1wp7/ & unlocked my cell phone. contacted them and i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.
