colors bitmaps and dtms...

Hey,
What my basic question is, is it possible to see how a color/bmp/dtm looks like?
For an example, since we all know they have a certain integer to each of them, is it possible to have a certain program that you type the integer in and you get the pixel color, the bmp, or DTM pixels?? Thanks.

You can't view what a DTM was made from because they only contain the information of a couple points from an image
