It's been a while since I used Simba, but I just downloaded the newest version and set everything up.

Every time I run a script, it crashes instantly. Any idea as to what the problem could be? Thanks for your help!

EDIT: MSI, SRL, and Reflection are all updated too.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried that, but it still crashed. ): Even ran as admin, since I'm on Windows 7.

What other information would you need?

The SMART window turns completely white, and there's an icon like it's loading, and then it closes.

Then Simba closes? Or Smart? Is your Java install proper? Try running Simba from cmd.exe?

Simba doesn't close, just the SMART window. I can continue to run the script as many times as I'd like, if that helps.
As for Java, I assume it's installed properly because I can log into Runescape normally. Is there any way to tell?

Will try the cmd thing now. (:
EDIT: Not too sure how to run simba via command. I'm just not sure what to type in is all. xD

cd ..
Type that until you get to C:\

Then type cd Simba

Then type Simba.exe

That got it to work, but after a good 5 seconds it closed out of the Smart window AND Simba. o.O

Oh (:
It shows a bunch of "trying to type x as 'x' for my username/pass, and after it says
"formWriteln: [02:55:20 PM] - Debug: function Walk(Where: String): Boolean;"
Maybe it's having some problem with the walking? I know Boolean is part of scripting, I think at least. :P

Here's a screenshot of it freezing up and closing. I'm not sure, maybe it's just a script problem? I can work a VEM script for a bit before that closes.

summary of the screenshot:
No error data.
A white/grey SMART window.
Last 4 lines of the cmd screen don't show any errors, just information from the script (writeln).
Two fields not found: k and tb.

All I can think of is try a Java or System reinstall. This is not likely a Simba problem.

So far everyone else went on the assumption that you did indeed set up Simba correctly.
Maybe double check the setup.
