No its not, but you can use an external program to run it apparently.

To be fair, if you don't already know what Wine is, just having someone tell you "Wine" doesn't really help any.

Right, Simba.exe is what you need to run, then open the scripts (the .Simba files) with that program, then run it. :)

Try following this tutorial http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47714

If you're using WINE, you should use a script that uses SMART, and not using the traditional client.

Did you click the green arrow in Simba?

piper101
11-18-2011, 06:46 PM
yeah it wouldn't do anything when i did.
had to reinstall simba idk why, then when i clicked green arrow it finally opened.

now when i click save, then run, it exits msi and says smart initialized and all that but sits there doing nothing
E: just restarted simba and ran MSI, then click run and program error came up
"The program Simba.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://appdb.winehq.org for tips about running this application.
If this problem is not present under Windows and has not been reported yet, you can report it at http://bugs.winehq.org

Run WINE via the Mac Terminal. It should give a debug or something.

It's a pain to do if you're not a computer wizard. You'd be better off using Boot Camp or whatever it's called that lets you run Windows on your Mac.

One thing you need to do is install Java in wine as well. Also the colour picker can only be used on wine windows.

Just a heads up. :)

I'd suggest parallels or vmware...

(both are virtual machine software)
