So, I am running a few smelters smithing cannonballs, but each account never seems to get any further than like 3-4 hours of botting before the script stops working.
Is this normal for simba scripts or just a problem with the script? I am using the AK Smelter, v 1.4

That sounds like Runescapes fault, it kicks players off after a few hours so the hooks can be updated.

would it be possible for the script to be written so that if the account gets logged out, it restarts a new SMART window and re logs in + continues botting?
I am used to the reflection bots where I could get like proggies that were over 1 day long sometimes

No, they can't do that because SMART can't be reloaded without restarting Simba. And reflection bots, if they were to work now, would be even less time, I think, because hooks update a few times a day (apparently).

It all depends on the script in most cases. If the script is really good, you'll be able to get around a 6 hour progress report since that's when RS kicks you off and you have to restart the client.

I thought Harri made a work-around/editted SMART for this, even though iirc it is very hack'ish.
