well it basically says it all in the title. i know its not the script because ive used it before and other scripts do this too (for me). any suggestions?

ps set mousespeed to 5. after one click(focuses on client) it slowes down to like 25(just a guess) but i cant do anything with it that slow.

edit: this is what happens.i drag the crosshairs over scss. i start the script. i click on runescape window. the mouse becomes extremely slow. i click on scar and the next mouse movement is regular until it clicks on rs. then it becomes really slow. its pissing me off. i cant auto i cant even test out my script! ive restarted my comp. ive changed from scss to reg runescape client. i dont know what to do!

Try adding:

WriteLn(IntToStr(MouseSpeed));

To a few procedures. :)

Try reinstalling SCAR and / or SRL. :)

it happens to me as well you know, iv had this for quite a while

but only on one computer, the others are fine, and iv put loads of Writelns everywhere, and it still says MouseSpeed = 5
i cant try it now, but can you try turning BenMouse off?

i just reinstalled scar. im going to try with benmouse on and then benmouse off.

edit: mousespeed is faster now that i have benmouse off. but it still isnt going 5. i now think my computer isnt good enough anymore.

yeah benmouse makes it laggier cuz its more anti-ban but the whole slowing down is because of lag, happens to me too, but u shud try cleaning up ur comp b4 using scar. ur also probably using a laggier script too, but if it used to be fast then try restarting and cleaning up ur comp in the registry, disk, or just plain malware.

I ahd this problem. I went under SetupSRL then put at 4 in there, cuz I think it changes to what that is if you have SetupSRL AFTER your mousespeed blah;.

The same thing happened to me but not only the mouse slows down, all the color finding procedures and stuff have slowed down. It just happened out of no where one day and i think it is my comp.

@ almost. exact same thing with me. even if i can run the script it takes like 4x as long to find a color or text.

Yea its just your comp. Occasional lag may slow down SCAR... a LOT! So the only thing thats wrong is that there is lag. Without lag, the mouse speed wont slow down.

I dont remember how much energy does scar with advanced srl functions take, but if youre comp is old it maybe can be because if your RAM is < 512mb , for things that require more than youve RAM's got it tries to use the hard drive for backup memory or whatever its called which is l0000000000t w0000t z0000mg g000rzf sl0w3r than RAM...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one Canadaman. It's pretty frustrating.

this is what i did i just put the mouse speed at 2 and it looks like it goes about 7. its better than nothing. text finding and other is still slow but nothing i can do until this comp gets really slow and my rents buy a new one.
