A few question.

I'm very new to the community here so I'm not very aware of how Simba and SRL work, please excuse me if there are threads that already explain or answer my questions, if there is a thread or a post that explains/answers my question the please link it in the reply instead of calling me a leecher as everyone has to start somewhere.




I tend to suffer alot of lag when I run Simba even when I have all the settings correct, is there any methods that can reduce the lag? (I do not get lag when running runescape normally, without botting.)

When starting the bot it auto-selects the world to go on, I'm using a USB mobile dongle so ping is absolutly crazy high, I tend to wait and select the one with the least ping for minimal lag, is there a way to change some code or settings in Simba so that the bot choses the world with the least amount of lag?

How strong is the anti-ban and what is the likelyness of me getting banned, I am currently testing on accounts that are purely botted so at the end of the day, a ban is a ban?

I would like to eventually contribute to the community by scripting, could someone advise or link me to an easily understandable (noob) guide, once I understand the scripting code for this site/program I will accept requests and start posting scripts?

1. Are you using SMART? It has been known to lag when being used. YoHoJo has a nice tutorial on how to fix it -> http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68177

2. If the script uses {DEFINE SMART} you can't adjust the world setting, even when setting the Server to the one you want. That's just from my experience, I don't know if it still works like that.

3. Antiban is controlled by the script creator, it can be as advanced or simple as they want it. There's a very low ban rate from using Simba, almost none.

1) Link in my sig about 'SMART FPS lag' might fix your lag problem. I suffered from that too and the instructions in my guide solved the problem so runescape ran as smooth as when in my browser.

2)
a) After simba logs you in all the way, click pause on simba, click this disable smart button, and manually log out to lobby, choose a world you want, log back in, click Enable smart button, and click play on script.
b) click play on simba after smart pops up click stop on simba. Let runescape load, click disable smart, log in manually and choose whatever server you want, then after logged in click enable smart, then click play on script.

3) Antiban depends on script, every scripter handles it differently. All of the most popular scripts here are very well written and Simba has/has always had THE lowest ban rates of any bot garunteed. Just be safe, don't bot for crazy hours, switch skills up every few weeks etc. I've used purely simba on 11 accounts all with 50/50/50 at str def, 70+ WC and Mining, 40+ fishing, 30+ smithing and some with even better skills and never got a ban or warning or anything.
