For a final project in my engineering programming class i made a very simple rpg, no graphics or story, not much of an rpg, but it works. I added magic in case i got around to making spells, but i never did. All of the math is made up and unbalanced, but it was a nice learning experience.

Features
GUI based with text
Save/load
create own monsters
level up spend stats
critical hit
dodging
buy potions

The .exe is too big to put as a link even after zipping it so here in the download link.

The game uses monsters.dat to allow the user to create monsters. You can get it from the zip file and put it in the directory for it to work i believe. It's not flawless or even close but it was fun.

Thats impressive, you should export it as a executable or c code if you have that matlab add on. Sadly I don't have matlab anymore either.

Here is it as a standalone.exe, don't hope for anything great lol, just was nice to learn a lot, might try making a scar script over break. Also going to take java next semester. edited first post for link
