How to report account hacked to jagex?

hey guys yesterday afternoon my account got hacked and i lost 40 mil is there anyway to contact jagex and report it/get my money back? i searched but there seems to be nothing

I don't think so, nor would they give you back any ingame money. You should reformat your computer then change your password to be sure you're safe.

yeah i got rid of the keylogger but it was attached to a dll so i just reinstalled windows and formatted my cdrive

Jagex has a page to report/recover hacked accounts.
They ask all info as accurate as you can tell like past usernames, passwords, levels, activities you did, items you had, and a BIG helper is proof(transaction IDs , credit cards etc) of any membership you bought. Wait a few days and they will tell you if you get it back or not.
As for any items or gold, what's gone is gone so let's hope you can recover and the hacker didn't transfer anything! Good luck just search the runescape page harder.

My wife's account got hacked earlier this year and we input all the information the requested include the bank account it was paid for from and a ton of personal information they denied her request saying she wasn't the owner of the account. My wife quit playing RS after that she was like FU.

thats a shame /: I think their customer service is mostly handled by bots though because when i submit recovery requests i always get responses within 30 seconds.

also sorry i wasnt that clear in the question, i meant that i had recovered the account and that there was 40 mil missing so i was only wondering whether i could get that 40 mil back or not
